What area would you prefer to take a class in Western Humanities with?

Tatiana Evanosky: I personally found that I enjoy the mysteries that one finds when studying the older eras. It's very thought-provoking when one sees things like ancient Egyptian temples with their anthropomorphic gods, and ancient sites with their things, like the cave paintings in France and the neolithic structures found in various parts of the world. Ancient Greek mythology, their pantheon of gods and goddesses, their architecture and interest in the arts and sciences is fascinating.The same can be said for the Old Norse (viking) culture. Although they do not appear to be overly concerned with exact science, per se, their literature and ship-building skills are notable, among other things.I just find it more interesting to 'witness' the changes that took place over all those long-past years. One can discern them more clearly, I think. When one moves into the Baroque-to-present years, the differences between styles become somewhat hard to differentiate. For example, w! hat is the difference between the Baroque style and the Rococo style? (Rococo is even more ornamented.) But where is the exact 'dividing' line between the two? It's really hard to say. And as you move closer to the modern-day, the question of "Is that piece THIS style or THAT style?" becomes ever more difficult to answer.
