Gilberto Cratin: I think we should be able to make a distinction between a corporation and the people of the corporation. The way corporate law works in the US, it's possible for a corporation to commit a serious crime, but no human in the corporation is responsible! I think that's wrong.So I say no, a corporation can't have a religion. Corporations are subject to laws just like anyone else. A corporation can't decid! e to discriminate in hiring if the religion of the CEO is intolerant or racist or sexist. If the law says health insurance must cover womens' health issues, treatment for HIV, etc. corporations don't get 'religious' exemptions.
