mineral makeup?

Byron Fortmann: i have had acne like my whole life..and mineral make-up...bareminerals to be specific is awesome! Liquid foundation looked bad on me...it dried my skin out and would never match my color. Minerals gives you pretty good coverage (not perfect, nothing is, my skin has never looked 'flawless' like the adds say for so many foundations) but it looks more natural and it doesn't make you break out as much. I bet you have beautfiul skin anyway so you can wear whatever make-up you want!...Show more

Karl Samiec: Yes mineral make- up is the natural way to go! make-up sold in stores has all this filling stuff in them which clog your pores and cause acne so i definately would spend a few extra $ and buy this! I use this and it helps clear blemishes while hiding them.

Idell Dufort: no its pretty much the same

Geraldo Mccalla: I don't like it. I think it wear off kinda fast and it you have dry skin at all it makes it more noticable. I have used on severa! l accasions and I'm always dissapointed.

Kassie Kay: I wouldn't recommend mineral makeup as far as the foundation part goes if you have oily skin & large pores, which basically go hand in hand. The mineral makeup foundation almost seems to highlight large pores, making them more visible. If you have small pores, I would definitely go this route - that's what skin it looks the best on (among many other products). I use a Korean brand foundation from a company called Dodo Club which is a 4 in 1 creme (SPF15, Moisturizer, Primer & Foundation in one) and powder on top....Show more

Corey Rohleder: yes it's very normal and doesn't cause acne at all.

Caleb Chapman: i personally dont think so, i've tried them both, but like i'e said before we all like different things, dont be afraid to try them both, the one you like better is the best for you, as long as you take it off before you sleep then its perfectly safe for your skin

Leann Villalta: I actually h! ave lots of problems with some of the products breaking my ski! n out and I use Bare Minerals. I love it!I bought my mom and sister and mother in law some for Christmas and they love it as well. Its definately worth trying I feel.

Emery Blando: nah, normal make.up is just as good!

Cordia Fivecoat: I don't wear make up, but my sister in law does, and since she has started wearing the mineral makeup it looks so much more natural, her skin looks fantastic, so it has cleared her complexion up, and she says it feels very light on, like she isn't wearing make up at all.

Coleen Carignan: it depends on ur skin colour & ur body shape

Nona Lentini: There isn't much difference, really. It's just like the difference between power and liquid, just a matter of opinion. Mineral make-up makes you shiney, no matter what they say.

Hye Caulley: Mineral make-up does present a lot of benefits.- It doesn't clog pores like traditional foundation -It usually contains ingredients which are beneficial to your skin. Zinc for example ! which is an anti-inflammatary-There are not chemical additives like there is with normal make up which means that you are not damaging your skin by wearing it- It is easy to apply and instead of going on thick straight away like normal foundations it gives a natural look which you can build on layer by layer to reach the perfect amount of coverage-Most mineral makeups contain a high amount of SPF to help protect your skin against the sunMineral makeup is incredibly suitable for people with senstive skin and it is a more natural look then any of the liquid foundations. It feels really light on the skin but is actually a really great cover up for any wrinkles and blemishes etc. and works by evening out skin tone and reflecting light from the sun to block out imperfections....Show more
