London Underground Unique Four Rail System?

Jen Maday: In three-rail systems, the track rails used by cars to run along the line are used for returning electricity that comes from the third rail. In the London Underground, the track rails are just that: track rails. The fourth rail, and not the track rails, is used to return electricity.
